March 12, 2023
the Present Day
The afternoon walk started around 4:30 PM. Backyard to Munger Trail then Carlton Trail to the ridge overlooking the St. Louis River Gorge. We were out and back in an hour. We met Keyen and his dog on the trail, fellow hikers one-in-all. It would be just the four of us in this part of the woods today - the snowfall twelve hours ago was quite explicit. There is no crowd in this neighborhood.
